15 000 e-shops declared in nra

Nearly 15,000 e-shops were declared to the NRA by the deadline of June 29, the revenue agency said. Changes in legislation have introduced additional requirements for e-merchants that accept card payments or those made via couriers to submit information about their sites to the NRA.

In the next month, the NRA will make control purchases from e-shops to check whether tax requirements are being met, the revenue agency warned. An analysis by the department shows that the annual damage to the budget from unpaid taxes and social security in online trade amounts to about 170 million levs.
